that's my very plausible reason
for being online.
alright but instead of squandering
my minutes away,
i decided to delve into the very misguided
definition of this word.
It's been bugging me, you see,
especially since our Eng teachers
declared it as ugly but adorable.
It contradicts MY dictionary
ok so maybe mine is outdated and obsolete
but i have only one dictionary at home.
sad i know.
There's always the internet though
and yes many references
to make certain of its acurracy.
So looking up the definition of 'cute',
this is what the online dictionary says:
Compact Oxford English Dictionary

• adjective 1 endearingly pretty. 2 N. Amer. informal sexually attractive. 3 informal, chiefly N. Amer. clever; shrewd.
Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary

with oxford,cambridge and marriam-webster,
i reckon my case is solid enough.
there is no ugly word there. sheesh.
All ye misguided, quote wrongly no longer.
oh and according to my dictionary
