muse of the day:
during english literature, in which we poured over
the character of Waverly Jong,
the imcomprehensible moves of chess,
and the invisible power of wind.
in which we were encouraged to be like her,
namely Waverly Jong,
to learn the rules of the game,
to get ahead and control
during chinese, in which i still have yet
to purchase my testbook
the teacher rattles on about childhood,
and laments how children nowadays
have lost their innocence and guile.
ironic isn't it
