the black sheep of the family

it stuck me on the way to the chi physician.
it's certainly amazing, how detached i am to God
even being brought up in a Christian household
surrounded by God-fearing men and women
the black sheep of the family in this aspect
no doubt.

mum was mentioning that she would not be home for dinner this tuesday
she had to attend the John 3:16 seminar
i nodded then questioned suddenly
"what is john 3:16"
my parents stared at me stunned.
john 3:16 is the sort of verse that any christian should know
sort of the fundamentals
even kiddos at sunday school can recite it backwards
apparently it just slipped my mind
dad commented
"it's high time you go for service"
so it seems
but does it make any difference at all
it still remains to be seen
